I was a freshman in high school when I went on a family vacation with a high school friend; we traveled back to where her Mom grew up. We had dinner with her Mom's best friend from high school; she was a travel agent. We spent the evening hearing about all of her travels and I was hooked! I immediately went home and applied to the top rated Travel & Business Career School in the nation and was accepted.
A turning point in my career came when I used the shutdown as an opportunity to transform my business. After decades of working tirelessly—overwhelmed with business yet stuck in the same routines—I knew there had to be a better way. I made the decision to invest in myself, investing tens of thousands of dollars in multiple mentors. I showed up every single day with purpose. I got up, got ready (at least halfway!), and stepped in front of the camera and my computer with unwavering commitment.
